Played with the Polish National Team, German Bundesliga and the English Premier League with Wimbledon F.C. and Coventry F.C.

His managers and coaches in England were Bobby Gould, F.A. Cup Winner 1988 and Wales National Coach, Ray Harford, Assistant Coach to Kenny Daglish, 1996 Premier Champion with Blackburn.  Kenny is the current F.C. Liverpool Head Coach. He was also coached by Don Howe, Assistant Coach for the English National Team and Joe Kinner, voted Manager of the Year in the Premier League in 1993.

In Germany, Detzi was coached by Ernst Happer, European Championship winner with H.S.V., Hamburg in 1981 and three (3) time German Bundesliga Champion.

Played with Franz Beckenbauer one of the most famous players in the world in 1980-1981 at H.S.V., Hamburg.

Honors include finishing third place in the European Championship with the Polish National Team, and winning two (2) league championship titles in England and Germany

Played professionally in Ghana for the Ghanaian Academy and the premier division team Tamale Real United

Played along side Abedi Pele a former Ghana International player who found fame in France's Ligue1 with Lille OSC and Olympique Marseille and was named African footballer of the year 1991, 1992 and 1993.  He was also named as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers.
